Over the past decade, the Foundation has funded different projects with a focus on sustainable value chains, landscape projects, and research. Going forward, we support different types of initiatives aimed at driving innovation and sustainable development in cocoa-growing regions in selected countries.

Our approach includes:

  • Co-created development projects: Comprehensive projects developed in close collaboration with key partners and designed to address systemic challenges in cocoa growing regions.

  • Pilots & applied esearch projects: We fund applied research and pilot initiatives that generate actionable insights as well as practical solutions to advance sustainable practices in the cocoa sector.
