COOKIE POLICY

Cookie notice

Lindt Cocoa Foundation makes use of cookies and tracking technologies for various reasons, including to support the operation of our Website, and to understand how you and other visitors interact on our pages. You can find more information about the usage of cookies in this Cookie Notice.

Web Beacons

Our use of web beacons or pixel tags allows us to count the number of visitors who have viewed our pages or read our promotional e-mail messages/newsletters. A web beacon is a 1×1 pixel, non-visible graphic that is related to the user ID of each newsletter subscriber or Site user. By the use of such web beacons in promotional e-mail messages/newsletters, we receive information about the address file used, the subject and the number of promotional e-mails/newsletters sent. In addition, it can be seen which addresses have not yet received the communication, to which address the e-mail was sent and at which addresses the delivery failed. In addition, the opening rate can include the information about, which addresses opened the promotional e-mail/newsletter and which addresses unsubscribed from the distribution. We use this data for statistical purposes and to optimise the content and structure of the promotional e-mails/newsletter. This allows us to better align the information and offers in our communications with the individual interests of the recipients. The tracking pixel is deleted when you delete the promotional e-mail/newsletter or leave the respective page. In order to prevent the use of web beacons or pixel tags on our pages, please opt-out of performance or analytical cookies set on our pages via our Privacy Preference Centre. You can also prevent the use of the web beacon in our promotional e-mail/newsletter in setting your email programme so that no HTML is displayed in messages, if this is not already the case by default. On the following pages you will find explanations on how to make this setting for the most common email programmes.
