CONTRIBUTION GUIDELINES

The foundation actively seeks for organizations to support in the defined focus areas of activity. Unsolicited requests for funding are therefore not accepted.

Carefully selected organizations are asked to submit a proposal, which covers at least one focus area and clearly shows a contribution to the mission in the most effective and efficient way. The Foundation Board then decides whether the proposed project will be supported.

To ensure continuous improvement, objectives and measures are agreed at the outset of any collaboration and evaluated on a regular basis. Continued funding depends on progress made against agreed key performance indicators.

We are aware of the challenging environments our partners work in, and know that taking certain risks is sometimes necessary in order to foster the needed disruptive changes on the ground. Failures to reach agreed objectives and measures therefore need to be analyzed properly to find solutions that improve the performance made.
