In a Nutshell: A Multi-layered Solution to Child Labor in the Hazelnut Harvest

The main objective of the project was to design a sustainable model to keep child workers away from the hazelnut harvest in Turkey. With trainings and activities centered around children working as seasonal agricultural laborers, the project provided an alternative that supports the children's academic development via courses such as math and sciences, empowered them by giving them communication and life skills, and helped them realize their talent via classes from art to music to dance (project finished).
